Rain Stops The Action For Mvb
MVB Racing posted Sunday March 7, 2010.

The Eureka Garages and Sheds Sprintcar Series was Mike Van Bremen’s focus this weekend with a two night show at Simpson Speedway and Geelong’s Avalon Raceway marked down on the calendar. However ordinary weather conditions throughout Victoria put a halt to any action on the racetrack.

Van Bremen made the journey with 27 other Sprintcar teams to Victoria’s south west to contest night one of the Great Southern Showdown at Simpson Speedway on Saturday night (March 6), before rain ended the night after hot laps.

Attention then turned to Geelong’s Avalon Raceway, before an early morning decision to cancel the evening of racing with rain overnight and more forecast storms on the way.

MVB Racing are now putting the final touches together before one of the blue ribbon events this season, the Victorian Sprintcar Championship, which also doubles as a round of the Eureka Series at Warrnambool’s Sungold Stadium on Saturday March 13.

MVB Racing would like to thank the following sponsors for season 2009/2010:
